About FA.S.T
Andrew Starykowicz is fast on course. He set records at nearly every course he raced over his 19 year professional career. He’s affectionately known as “Starky,” and he is fast. That is about the most syllables that the mouth could utter as he bent the wind enroute to one of his nearly 50 professional triathlon podiums.
The from 2005-2009 Andrew Starykowicz raced at the professional level but maintained a full time engineering position at Caterpillar Inc. This is where he learned the value of “the long weekend.” Leaving Wednesday after lunch or after work Andrew would travel to a place to get a focused 3 1/2- 4 day traincation. These became a backbone in Starykowicz’s success ultimately bringing him to a level that he left Caterpillar to pursue racing full time.
Starykowicz never lost sight of the value of these 4 day traincations and the camps grew amongst amatuer and professionals. Then in 2013 he launched FA.S.T formally providing long weekend training camps and coaches. These camps were designed to push athletes beyond their physical limits with seemingly impossible workouts.
FA.S.T Endurance has not lost it’s origins of maximizing the long weekend. These short trips provide a platform for the endurance minded athlete to get a great workout creating memories around every bend.
