FA.S.T

Andrew Starykowicz, affectionately known as "Starky," was a force on and off the triathlon course. Throughout his 19-year professional career, he was known for his relentless, balls out start to finish racing style. These tactics, or lack there of, put Starky out front at nearly every race for the last 2 decades earning him nearly 50 professional podiums.

From 2005 to 2009, Andrew Starykowicz balanced a professional triathlon career with a full-time engineering job at Caterpillar Inc. During this time, he perfected the art of the "long weekend." He would head out of town after work on Wednesday and travel for a focused 3 to 4-day "traincation." These training blocks became a cornerstone of his success and ultimately enabled him to leave his engineering position to race professionally full-time.

After he began racing full-time, Starky never forgot the value of the four-day "traincation." In 2013, he launched FA.S.T. Endurance, a company formally providing long-weekend training camps designed to push athletes to their physical limits with seemingly impossible workouts. Through these traincations many once thought unachievable goals were achieved and limits redefined. This momentum put medals on the wall and trophies on the shelf for numerous amateur and professional athletes.

Today, FA.S.T. Endurance continues to maximize the long weekend, balancing endurance sports with exploration. These 3-4 day trips offer a perfect platform for athletes to explore beautiful parts of the U.S., connect with like-minded individuals, and get in a fantastic weekend of riding, running, hiking, or swimming.
